Easy Ways To Prepare Chinese Vegetable Stir Fry

Chinese vegetable stir fry is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes to cook in the house. Just add the right ingredients and stir them, and your taste buds will be satisfied. But let’s face it, what if you have an event coming up and you need to do something with all of your leftover veggies?

It’s hard to put things in a platter when you’re at a buffet. No matter how much thought you put into your meal, it will never be done. These three options will save you time, effort, and your guests’ time at the event:

Broil Your Veggies – Chinese Vegetable Stir Fry

For starters, don’t throw your vegetables directly on the stove. Trust me, your guests will appreciate this idea. Put your veggies on a baking sheet that’s been lined with foil.

Put Chicken And/Or Beef In A Submerged Crock Pot

The easiest way to complete this recipe is to put your chicken and/or beef in a small bowl. Just fill the bowl halfway with water and place it at the bottom of your crockpot.

Add Rice And Broth

You can even chop up some rice for your guests if you want. Just set the rice in the crockpot on top of the meat and chicken and stir it around. The rice will soak up the liquid and prevent the meat from drying out.

Make A Steamer

All you need to do is fill in a heat-proof skillet with enough water to cover the vegetables by about one inch. Place the vegetables inside and put the lid on. Add a couple of pinches of salt and a tablespoon of pepper, and turn the heat up to medium-high.

When the vegetables are tender, remove them from the steamer and set them on a plate or cutting board in the heat-proof skillet. You’ll notice that the skins will begin to brown. Let the vegetables cool, and then cut them into strips.

Serve It Right Up – Chinese Vegetable Stir Fry

That’s it! You just took about ten minutes from start to finish. The only thing left is to put the vegetables on a platter and serve. There’s no mess, no rice, and you won’t spend more than fifteen minutes cooking the meal.

A platter is a good idea if you don’t have a large space to use because it keeps the leftovers at a manageable size. And there’s still another option for your leftovers. If you’re having a dinner party and not going to eat the leftovers, you can make a salad bar.

A quick salad bar is simply a row of or a container of different salads that you can use. With so many salad ideas to choose from, there’s no excuse for being out of some type of dressing. Add dressing to your salad and put the squeeze bottles in a short-sided glass container. Then, pack a couple of containers full for your guests to take home.

Now for the greens! Simply grab the packet of wilted or sprouted greens and put them in your salad!
