You can always be sure that a typical Asian Pear Salad is one of the most sought after recipes in every typical American kitchen. Most often they are served along with Japanese Spicy Noodle Soup, Chinese Broccoli Salad, and Chili Crab salad or even with stir fries as well. The reason behind is pretty obvious, folks love Asian foods, and they love food that tastes good!

Unique Way Of Preparation

One thing that has helped me to love Asian meals even more is simply because of their very nature. In this case, it’s not just about the taste, but it’s the unique way of preparation and the overall “oomph” that they have. They’re not like typical American recipes where you would usually sprinkle on some seasoning, cook and then eat. Here is how you can make your favorite Asian dish into a meal that your whole family will love to share with each other.

First off, to make this recipe a real treat for your family you’re going to need all of the above ingredients except for the pear itself. The Chinese are famous for grilling meats in order to impart the flavor and tenderness into them. This is a great way to make this recipe a real treat for your loved ones. Just be sure that you take your time to cook it properly and allow the meat to cook thoroughly, you don’t want it overcooked or burning.

Chop Up Your Pear Into Little Pieces

Once you have all of your supplies gathered, the first step will be to chop up your pear into little pieces. If you have some lying around from when you bought your gear, go ahead and use those. And then, once you have all of your chopped up pear pieces ready, it’s time to get started. So, as you can probably guess, the most important part of making this dish is the marinade. This is where your love of Asian cuisines really comes into play. You’ll need a soy or rice based marinade.

Use Some Soy Sauce With Asian Flavors

For my recipe, I like to use some soy sauce with Asian flavors like ginger, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seed and a touch of rock salt. For some reason, adding these little spices to the pear juice seems to bring out the best of the flavors in the pear. Once you’ve added all of your ingredients, place the cooked pear on a plate and let it marinate for about an hour or so. This will give the salad that special aroma that only pear juices can provide.

Now it’s time to cut up the rest of your ingredients. Of course, you’re going to need a cutting board here. I would recommend one made out of plastic, because the longer you leave the pieces on there, the more chances of the bits breaking off. If you don’t have one of these, you may want to use a large knife, just to be safe.

Bottom L

These Asian pear salad recipes are truly simple to make and a great way to save money at the same time. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to impress your family or guests. It’s a great meal that doesn’t cost a lot of time either!
